A Tragic Loss & How Microcurrent Helped

“I have a patient at my clinic for regular massage. She experienced a very tragic event losing a sibling. During the massage my patient broke into tears 5 times. Being very close to that sibling, my patient was not able to partake in any events which they did so much of in the past. Emotionally, wondering what their purpose was now without the missing sibling. With less than 5 months left in law school, they had no longer any drive, want or care if they were to carry on. I consoled my client, tried to find all the positives which did help and not to give up. I then spoke of the new modality I had started to work with this past year.

Stimulating the Vagus nerve seemed to be something I could offer this patient. I made a deal with the patient; I would do this only if these certain conditions were met. Patient would have to stop sleeping meds for the weekend, no using Cannabis and that they must update me how they felt before going to sleep for the night and once they awoke; and MUST continue with school to the end. If those conditions were met, I would perform this treatment once or twice per day at no charge, Monday to Friday for the week to help rid depression, anxiety, lack of motivation and increase awareness and drive.

After Friday’s treatment, my update for Saturday was promised by my patient ‘what ever you did, I went home and slept for 4 hours in the afternoon with no meds. I then went to bed at 9:30 fell asleep immediately and slept for 12 hours. I woke up feeling refreshed, happy and picked up my books and got caught up over the weekend.’

Monday, I provided two treatments. Tuesday morning update; ‘I woke up this morning fully rested, I feel so energized, I am looking forward to getting back into my schooling and completing it. I know my sibling is watching over me wanting me to be happy and do my best and complete my passion in school. I have not felt this emotionally charged since before the tragic accident. I cannot thank you enough for what you have done and are doing for me. I need my father to experience this. Since that day, he has completely shut down from everyone and everything. Thank you again.’
