The MEAD-20 System

THURSDAY, JUNE 16, 2022, AT 4 PM PST

At this live training event, you will learn how to utilize your meridians to resolve systemic issues within the body like chronic pain, autoimmune disease, illness, and injury.

And here’s the brilliant news: it’s all online!

Where?

It’s all happening right in our Pain Free For Life Support Group and on Zoom.

The 21st century is a time centered on the prevention of illness and on supporting the body’s natural ability to heal itself. In recent decades, the influence of Traditional Chinese Medicine has familiarized Westerners with the concept of meridians or channels of energy flow. Nearly everyone now has at least an elementary grasp of this concept: when the body’s energy channels are unrestricted and flowing freely, vibrant health naturally ensues.

As our understanding of the human body evolves, the doctors at Pain Free For Life are discovering new and exciting ways to promote health and wellbeing. Energy meridian evaluation is one such area that is gaining popularity as a way to assess stress levels, mental, and physical health. It can even function as an early warning system for underlying health issues.

In this blog post, we’ll answer questions such as:

  • What is energy medicine?
  • What is TCM?
  • What are meridians, and how are they related to my health?
  • What’s the history behind energy meridian evaluation?
  • How does energy evaluation work?
  • How can I incorporate energy meridian evaluation into my health and wellness regimen?

Let’s get started!

What is Energy Medicine?

Energy medicine is a branch of holistic medicine that focuses on the energy field that surrounds and permeates the human body. This energy field is also known as the biofield and is important for our health and wellbeing. Energy medicine practitioners use a variety of techniques to detect and correct imbalances in the biofield. These imbalances are believed to cause or contribute to illness and disease. Though energy medicine is still considered a relatively new field, manybelieve that it stands to revolutionize our ability to promote overall health and wellness.

Traditional Chinese Medicine

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a system of healing that dates back thousands of years. At the heart of TCM is the belief that there is an invisible energy force that flows through the body along specific pathways, or meridians. This energy, known as qi, is thought to be responsible for health and balance. When the flow of qi is disrupted, it is believed to cause disease.

TCM practitioners use a variety of techniques, including acupuncture, electroacupuncture, and herbal medicine, to restore balance and promote healing. Though the mechanisms behind these practices are still not fully understood, research has shown that they can be effective for a wide range of conditions. In recent years, more and more people in the western world are turning to TCM for its holistic approach to health and wellbeing.

Your Meridians Explained

Modern acupuncture recognizes twelve principal meridians and several more minor meridians and tributary branches throughout the body, including ones connecting internal organs with the main meridians. Most acupuncture points can be found along the meridians.

According to ancient Chinese wisdom, the meridian system is an energetic communication system that energizes, integrates, organizes, and informs the body as a whole. It is also the primary system responsible for responding to injuries and traumas and protecting against disease. It is generally accepted that any blockage of these pathways, whether by emotional or physical trauma, will over time lead to a degenerative disease state and physical aging.

It has been shown that these broken or blocked pathways can be jump-started using Biofeedback Electro-Stimulation Technology which Science now calls “Closed Loop Neuromodulation,” using microcurrent. Before any treatment can take place, however, these internal blockages of energy flow and their release points must first be identified.

That is a job for the MEAD. The MEAD-20 system is the fastest, most accurate meridian energy evaluation method we know. Not only is it capable of generating one of the most comprehensive energy analyses available, but it does so non-invasively and in just three minutes, freeing up your time and allowing for more comprehensive care.

Once a patient’s energy system blockages have been located, it is up to the practitioner to use a microcurrent technology of their choice to “unblock” or break down the barriers to continued good health, whether these frequencies are representative of material blockages (such as heavy metals, history of medications, etc.)

East Meets West: A History of Energy Analysis

In 1949, a research group headed by Dr. Nakatani of Kyoto University found that abnormalities or diseases of the internal organs are reflected in measurable changes in bio-electric current. This study concluded that most diseases are related to variable flux in the bio-electric currents of the twelve primary meridians and points called source points or yuan points. Dr. Nakatani’s findings fully validated traditional Chinese meridian theory.

In 1957, after further study with source points and bio-electric currents, the now-famous Ryodoraku theory was published. This marked the first time the meridian phenomenon was sampled in a large-scale, long-term clinical research project and validated using biology, anatomy, and modern medical techniques.

Particularly notable is that the results from the study were systematically analyzed and verified by modern medical practitioners and clinically compared and contrasted with Traditional Chinese concepts of the body. This synergistic approach allows for a refreshing perspective on Traditional Chinese Medicine as opposed to the more common empirical-based approach, where bias often exists.

Meridian Evaluation: How it Works

Meridian evaluation is a technique used to assess the energy balance of the body’s meridians. It is based on the belief that imbalances in the body’s energy can lead to physical, emotional, and mental health problems.

What to expect:

Traditionally, during a meridian evaluation, a practitioner would use palpation to evaluate the pulse at different points on the body. They would also assess the condition of the skin and muscles at these points. Based on their findings, they then would develop a plan to rebalance the body’s energy. Meridian evaluations are often used alongside acupuncture, massage, and other holistic therapies.

Luckily, these days we have access to energy meridian analysis technology to remove any of the guesswork or confusion surrounding this process; let’s cover that next!

MEAD Technology: What is it?

Imagine a machine that can see the life force flowing through your body. A device capable of gauging and revealing the amount of this energy, your level of autonomic nervous response (fight or flight), the health of your metabolism and your physical structure, and even your level of spirituality, all within a simple 3-minute evaluation.

With the MEAD-20 System, this is all now a reality.

The MEAD-20 system (which stands for Meridian Evaluation and Dietary Analysis) is a simple and easy-to-use tool that anyone can use to assess their energy meridians quickly and easily. In addition to meridian evaluation, the MEAD-20 also offers dietary advice and microcurrent therapy protocols specific to the patient’s needs.
